Our regional tapestry group, Tapis (Tapestry Weavers of Vancouver Island) usually meets twice a year, alternating between our Victoria members and our mid-islands members homes. Our meeting includes show and tell, sharing of events and information and a wonderful potluck lunch. It seems that tapestry weavers are also great cooks and everyone looks forward to our meal. One day one of the members suggested we should be putting these great recipes into a book to share and then of course, the idea came about that we should be weaving tapestries about our recipes. Thus this wonderful collection of recipes and tapestries. More will be added to the website as they are completed. It is also our hope that our friends in Tapestry Weavers Interest Group formed by Virginia Baldwin will host a show in the Vancouver area where the tapesries and recipe book will be featured during the summer of 2008.
